A note on shipping: Estimated delivery times may appear longer than usual as I work through a high volume of orders. Rest assured, your order is in the queue and will ship as quickly as my one-person shop can get to it. Thank you for your patience and support!

What do we have here?

• A lightweight, ultra-portable carbon fiber mast — measuring just under 1 pound (~15.24oz) with a collapsed length of 16 inches, making it one of the most compact AND AFFORDABLE masts on the market.
• Extended length: ~5.9 Meters (19 feet ' 6 inches)
• Total sections: 20
• Bottom outside diameter (O.D.): ~37 mm
• Top section O.D.: ~5.05-5.25 mm

Perfect for ham radio, Parks on the Air (POTA), Summits on the Air (SOTA), and more.

🎒 Portability & Included Components

• Primary Cap: Black TPU cap with red paracord — attaches to the top section and allows easy wire antenna support.

• Secondary Cap: HOLLOW ABS plug for alternate use — often mistaken for packaging, but it’s a backup cap.

Wire Antenna Focus: These masts are designed for wire antennas ONLY. The 5.2mm tip section is reinforced, but not indestructible. Please, always extend and collapse with care. NEVER pull by red cord.

If you're planning to hang heavier items (like an auto-transformer) from the tip, caution is advised. The 5.2 mm section can handle typical wire loads. This is outside the scope of what I warranty or support.

⚠️ Important Usage Notes

Thermal Advisory: In regions with large day-to-night temperature swings (e.g., deserts or high altitudes), any section may lose friction and collapse unexpectedly as the mast cools. For best results, use this for portable use. If you are going to use this for Permanent use, you may see this issue. There are methods, such as placing tape right above each section, forcing the mast to not be able to collapse.

Watch your overhead surroundings. Carbon fiber is conductive. Not paying attention could get you killed.

Handle with care when extending or collapsing to avoid damage.

📦 Shipping Info

Box size: 18x3x3" — I can often fit up to 2 masts per box for combined shipping. Shipping is billed at actual cost. If there is an overage, I will reimburse you the difference.

🆕 Looking for the LIL DUDE 6 V2?

The LD6 V2 is now available — it’s nearly identical in form but manufactured by a new supplier for tighter tolerances and more consistent quality control. Previous inconsistencies in V1 were caught and filtered out — if I wasn’t 100% confident in a mast, I didn’t sell it. This took up time and finances. LAME.

Also new in V2:

Cap material has been upgraded from ASA to durable TPU for improved grip and weather resistance. Polymaker TPU-95A HF has UV protection as well!
Tip section is slightly larger (~5.05-5.2 mm OD) .
