Although I have had great results and success with my dipoles (I've made some with 9-10 turns for 10m and this one for 20), I recognize there may be more to do, before I get the perfect number of turns to suggest for each band. If you would like to build your own dipole, this is an entry level QRP kit to get you started.

What's Included:

1 Wire Winder – Printed with durable ASA Filament for outdoor use (temporary outdoor use due to BNC part exposure).
2 End Insulators – Also printed with ASA Filament
1 T82-43 Toroid – For building a 1:1 Choke Balun.
1 BNC Connector – Easy connection to your coax.
6 ft of 22 AWG Magnet Wire – For winding the toroid.
2 Ring Connectors – For easy wire attachment.
1 Set of Hardware – Includes 2 screws and 2 nuts for assembly.
1 S Biner – Makes deployment easier
Just add your own antenna wire, and you're ready to go!

Choke Balun Performance

The included toroid is designed to create a 1:1 Choke Balun. I’ve found that 11 turns on the T82-43 core works okay for my needs on 20m. However, according to my testing. However, there may be less turns, equally spaced, which would give better performance on 10.
