Cheap CW Key for Ham Radio - Putikeeg Vs AliExpress Vs Amazon (TUMD CW Key).

Need a Cheap CW Key for Ham Radio?

I am Not a CW Expert, but I still love comparing and tearing apart things to understand how they work.

So in this episode, I purchased 3 CW keys from AliExpress, Amazon.com, and Putikeeg.com. Are there any differences (That I, an amateur can observe)? How does the key work?

I'll start of by saying, as a non expert of CW, I think the keys are great for a beginner or someone looking for a throw around key. I used to have a N3ZN key, but I had to sell it and focus on cheap gear.

All links are affiliate links where possible (Putikeeg link is not). This allows me to make a small commission on the sale of an item. If that's not your thing, no worries, I am sure you can find them elsewhere. Cheers.

At the Time of recording, the links to these keys were as follows:

Amazon.com - amzn.to/4dpRnrO

AliExpress TUMD Key - s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Dl5PCtp
PUTIKEEG - putikeeg.com/products/cw-morse-keys-automa…

I have not purchased, nor do I know the quality of the Putikeeg on Aliexpress:
aliexpress.us/item/3256804390222396.html (not an affiliate link, by the way)

Same goes with Amazon.com, which was found after this video was made and published (thanks to commenter MS for mentioning it. He got it on prime days for 49 USD!)
