About this video
In this episode, I explain what my process was from never using a laser engraver, to now engraving on a painted tumbler. This is not a guide, but an observation of my experiences from assembly, issues, and my first cuts. I'm looking forward to making more videos about engravers and 3d printers, and maybe that CNC mill of mine.
I want to thank Mecpow for sending me this engraver. I did purchase the rotary tool on my own, but I wouldn't have been able to afford a laser engraver otherwise. So this greatly helps me continue to learn new, dopamine fueled projects.
I also wanted to note in the video - I grabbed the goodwill / thrift store tumblers. Although the pink one was from goodwill, I got that a long time ago. You can see I have a stack of tumblers (You should see my cabinets) and in a hurry I just grabbed whichever ones were around. If you're looking for inexpensive tumblers, check out your goodwill.
I do highly recommend checking out your local thrift stores to find cheap things to engrave!
