I just received the Lil Dude 6 and the ground spike today and immediately took it out for a spin in the park. Worked like a charm. The mast is well made, easy to use, and the spike is very cleverly designed. Customer service was also above expectation. This is a great solution for POTA.
Very well built and far exceeded my expectations. The instructions were clear and the spike has been very useful so far
The item was very durable and much better than others I tried in the past. Everything was as described and the working ability was much better than expected
I am very happy with the pole and spike and the customer service I received!
Excellent craftsmanship and exactly what I needed
LD6 is extremely well made. Everything I expected and more. N9RVR
It seems to be great quality,(I haven’t used it yet) and the shipping was quick. I will probably get another. Thanks!
What an awesome mast. For the price, it can't be beat. This was the perfect addition to my QRP-Labs QMX compact kit. It was very easy to setup, cut my setup time dramatically compared to what I had been using, light weight, very compact, just absolutely amazing product. If you are considering on of the other portable, telescopic masts at 2 to 3 times the price, you really should reconsider and give the LD6 a shot. For me, it was just under $100 after shipping and fees. This truly was the icing on the cake, especially when paired with the Dude Spike.

This works great as a quick base for my antenna system
Perfect addition to the Lil Dide. Needed something for quick deployment and this is just the ticket. Easy to assemble and well thought out design. Will be coming back for one for the POTA 20 next.
Easy to assemble, injection molded parts are very substantial as far as build goes, feels very durable and robust, nice smooth finish so it won't wear on the inside of the LD6 . I can't wait to get an LD6 (hopefully available soon so I can order one) to try it out. If it was about 1 to 1.5mm narrower I could use it with 23' Temu crappie pole as well.
Works great in my EFHW antenna build
Prompt response to get the item to me. Truly appreciate the quality customer service.
Great product. Arrived as described
