Worked great. Easy to use and wind up when done
Awesome seller very responsive . Quality Parts
This is my first mast, but it seems to be very high quality and sturdy while still maintaining a great form factor for packing into a backpack.
Customer service was absolutely fantastic and I look forward to ordering from HRD again
Seller responded quickly and shipped out soon after order. Pieces look terrific and I’m very happy with this purchase. Will be buying again from this seller. Thank you!
Great mast! Very light, so great for trudging around the jungles of Guam! Great Quality stuff. Sean is a treat to work with!
Thanks for looking out for the guys in the middle of the pacific!
Works. Excellent quality. Something so simple you don't even know you need one.
I got to see this pole at the CFMC Radio Expo in Belvidere in September. What impressed me was the quality and how well the sections fit together. This pole beats the Sotabeams Carbon 6 meter pole.
I needed a pole to setup a 20 meter antenna. This pole is stronger at the top and with only 33 ft of antenna wire a 10 meter pole is too long. This pole is light and easy to set up. I staked it out using 3 10ft long 550 cords with stakes and it was very strong setup. I am used to using a 10 meter pole and was concerned that the shorter pole would not let the antenna radiate well but during a POTA activation using my FX-4CR radio at 20 watts I made contacts from Oregon to New York. This pole is a keeper!
I'm very happy with my purchase, looking forward to using these items.
I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm looking forward to using these items.
Fantastic product/design
Loving my HRD LD6
Super high quality, lightweight, and compact mast for a bargain of a price.
An awesome EFHW kit! Super helpful to build this kit when learning about HF antennas, ununs, and tuning!
Perfect for my needs, to wind radials, and small RG174 coax.
These wire winders look great. Thanks...
Once I get this antenna built, I will be adding it to my POTA kits. Thanks...
This will be added to my arsenal for my POTA kits. I can't wait to pair it with the HRD EFHW antenna. Thanks!!!
Great project - well designed
I wanted extra wire to turn the 40m EFHW into a linked 80m. And the Dude made a custom Etsy order for the wire and tossed in some extra goodies with it! Awesome customer service.
Great mast, really innovative top for the mast
This mast is a Great LOL Dude!!
The mast is very well made and worked well in the yard when testing. When using it in the field, I had a small issue with a broken tip, and I contacted Sean, who immediately resolved the issue. Terrific customer service and I highly recommend the Lildue mast and the Dude who sells them! Thanks, Sean!
Nice platform for building compact multi-band portable antennas. I liked the SO-239 connector, elastic velcro strap, and beefy toriod core. I made a 4:1 UNUN with a 25 ft radiator as a Rybakov vertical. The strap attaches nicely to a fiberglass pole.
I like this pole. It’s just a standard friction-fit pole so I expect it will collapse sometimes when activating POTA/SOTA. What I like most is the collapsed size and overall weight. It will fit perfectly lashed to the side of my SOTA backpack and go kit.
Excellent quality!! Very compact and lightweight, will be my go to in my backpack and carry-on suitcase when traveling! Great job!
Very sturdy antenna mast for portable use.
Great mast and great service. KB2GCG
I have been using these toppers for a while. I recommend these. They are extremely useful for masts when hanging wires. I have even used these with Ham Sticks.
First of all, Sean is a great guy and I like buying from him but that being said, Wow is this a great mast. I am impressed with the quality. I have the other carbon 6 mast and this one seems to have more layers to it. A solid product.
Don't hesitate to hit the buy button. This is everthing I was looking for in a field expedient mast. The quality is outstanding and if treated right should last you a long long time. It was everything that Ham Radio Dude described.
This mast is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size and will fit in my backpack well. Fare price too. Thank you I will recommend to my Ham friends.
