About this video

UPDATE: I don't know why I Thought this, but this is the fiberglass mast. Pretty impressive. In this episode, designedand tested a dipole mount and used a 1/2 wave 20m dipole using inexpensive Telescoping Antennas from Ali Express. While building the 1/2 wave dipole, I
confirmed the functionality and durability of the mount I made for the Gigaparts Carbon Fiber Mast. Additionally, I had the opportunity to show some design mishaps which I need to correct and finally, give a few thoughts and opinions on the mount.

I was ecstatic to make contacts to Florida, New Mexico, Arizona, Virginia and more, but more excited to know the mount I designed works well for me.

In the future, I will be taking most of these homemade products and testing them/comparing them. Particularly, I am looking forward to testing the 20m Hamsticks in a dipole, vs the 1/2 wave.

Software used to design: Tinkercad

Type of printing used: MFJ PA12
Mount used: Gigaparts Carbon Fiber 25' mast.
